Women share their work from home style
Many of us are on our second or third week of working from home. As the work from home days become weeks, we’ve had a lot of women express to us that they are feeling unmotivated to get up, dressed and going in the morning. Soon it’s already lunchtime and half the day has passed. By dinnertime, another full day has been spent in pjs. It’s getting harder to physically get out of bed and get dressed to start the day.
We started our Get Up, Get Dressed Campaign to motivate women to get out of bed for work and empower them to dress for success at home.
We asked our amazing community of women to share with us their WFH style and encouraged them to spread the word to their friends. We loved seeing hundreds of women posting their work from home outfits, in everything from rompers to leggings and turtlenecks to blazers.
The feedback we’ve received from the campaign has been incredible. Women loved getting dressed for the day, despite not leaving the house. Here’s what our Suitably crew had to say:
"Much of my sense of style and fashion comes from getting dressed to go into an office. When transitioning into WFH, I felt like I was losing that sense of style. I felt unmotivated to get out of my pajamas, and confused when looking at my closet. I loved the Get Up, Get Dressed campaign because it inspired me to identify some comfy, casual pieces in my wardrobe and it taught me that it's okay to feel comfortable and rock a pair of sweatpants with a cute t-shirt when I WFH.” - Kiran K.
“Thank you Suitably for doing this campaign. I have been feeling so down lately and this campaign was a good motivator and made me feel good about myself again for the first time in a while ❤️❤️❤️” - Lauren M.
“This was so inspiring! I have been wrestling with what to wear now that I’m working from home. I loved seeing work from home ootds from so many women and feel inspired to get dressed and get my days going again.” - Melissa P.
“The best work from home outfit inspiration I have seen. Getting dressed for the office is always a struggle and this gave so much easy work from home outfit inspiration. Keep it coming!” - Tara T.
Thank you to everyone who shared their work from home outfits and participated in this campaign! If you did not get a chance to participate, we’ll continue to share your work from home outfits on our story and we’ll also save all of the work from home outfits as a highlight on our Instagram page.
